Students Act Out Everyday Situations

ALV English since 1992

Savingnon, an English master, said: Some second language learners can communicate effectively using only the 100 words they know. How did they do it? Because they use body language well and try to imitate the sounds of things, they use the words they know to create new words or describe what they want to say. Simply put, they make good use of communication skills. Although they lack grammar and enough words, they can still communicate very successfully because they know how to use limited words to communicate best. In the ALV ACADEMY English Camp/Study Abroad, we teach not only English but also communication skills.

Using S.E.A. teaching techniques, combined with sense and practical exercises through emotion, students can speak English naturally. In the ALV ACADEMY English Camp/Study Abroad, students go through three teaching steps: learn, practice, and use, which serve as the main core framework for students to learn and use language. Students first learn words, phrases, and conversations in class and then go to local stores to shop or order food in English, cultivating students' confidence in speaking English.

Mathematician Archimedes once said, "Give me a fulcrum, and I will hold up the earth." If we give children a fulcrum and the opportunity to learn happily, I believe that children will become more motivated to learn languages. The entire activity adopts "full immersion learning." Under the guidance of foreign teachers and PNU teaching assistants, students can learn systematically and speak English with confidence.
